Dove is the number-one small game species and the number-one migratory game bird species in Georgia. There is more public dove hunting opportunity than ever before, including a new dove fields at Big Lazer Wildlife Management Area (WMA) and Flat Creek Public Fishing Area (PFA).

At the Pine Log WMA we have planted sunflowers and wheat. There are a total of 32 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At Wilson Shoals we have planted sunflower, wheat, and brown top millet. There are a total of 16 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At Alexander WMA we have planted sunflower and wheat for a total of 45 acres, and the forecast is excellent.

At Clarks Hill we have planted 20 acres of wheat, and the forecast is fair.

At Di-Lane we have planted sunflowers, wheat, and brown top millet for a total of 60 acres of dove fields, and the forecast is very good.

At Di-Lane (Adult/Child) we have planted sunflowers, wheat, and brown top millet for a total of 60 acres of dove fields, and the forecast is very good.

At Lower Broad River WMA we have planted 13 acres of wheat, and the forecast is fair.

At Oconee we have planted wheat, brown top millet, and sorghum over 26 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At Redlands (Adult/ Child) we have planted wheat, brown top millet, and sorghum. There are 60 acres, and the forecast is good.

At Walton (Adult/Child) we have planted sunflowers, wheat, and brown top millet for a total of 50 acres, and the forecast is good.

At Blanton Creek we have planted 31 acres of wheat, and the forecast is good.

At Standing Boy Creek we have planted 21 acres of brown top millet., and the forecast is good.

At West Point we have planted brown top millet and wheat that makes up a total of 23 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At Joe Kurz we have planted brown top millet, wheat, sunflower, sorghum, and sesame. There are a total f 165 acres, and the forecast is good.

At B.F. Grant we have planted wheat and sunflowers. There are 13 acres, and the forecast is good.

At Cedar Creek we have planted brown top millet, wheat, and sunflowers. There are 42 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At Rum Creek we have planted sunflower, Egyptian wheat, brown top millet, and wheat. This is a total of 35 acres, and the forecast is excellent.

At the J.L. Lester WMA we have plated sunflowers, millet, wheat and corn for a total of 18 acres of dove fields, and the forecast is good.

At Appling County Dove Field, we have corn and sunflowers planted on 107 acres. The forecast is good.

At the Paradise Public Fishing Area, we have planted peanuts and sesame for a total of 50 acres, and the forecast is good.

Non-Quota Fields

At the Berry College WMA we have planted wheat, millet, sunflower, and corn for a total of 30 acres of dove fields, and the forecast is expected to be fair.

At the Crockford- Pigeon Mountain WMA we have planted 30 acres of corn and sunflowers.

At Dawson Forest we have planted 11 acres of brown top millet. The forecast is poor.

At Buck Shoals (Youth) we have planted 22 acres of millet. The forecast is good.

At Big Lazer Creek we have planted 25 acres of brown top millet, and the forecast us fair.

At Penholoway we have planted brown top millet, wheat, and corn over a total of 25 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At Townsend we have planted brown top millet and proso that add up to a total of 90 acres of dove fields, and the forecast is fair.

At Richmond Hill WMA we have planted millo ,milet, and sunflowers for a total of 28 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At the Laurens County VPA we have planted brown top millet, sesame, and sunflowers that add up to a total of 46 acres, and the forecast is fair.

At the Anderson Dove Fields we have millet and sunflowers planted. There are 127 acres, and the forecast is fair.
