How does one find out about the non quota dove shoots. I see the list but what are the dates and what do I need to do to be able to shoot. I have a lifetime license. Is there someplace I can read and find out more about the quota hunts. I applied for a quota dove shoot but had no idea where they would be at as I couldn’t find any info on them. I’ve asked other folks and they didn’t know either.

Jackie,
For non-quota dove shoots, since you are a licensed hunter, as long as you also have the free Migratory Bird Harvest Information Program (HIP) permit, you may show up and hunt those fields once the season has started.
For the quota hunts, you may consult the hunting regulations booklet that just came out, or the online version (which is available on our website http://www.georgiawildlife.com/hunting/regulations.) You may also contact one of our Game Management Regional Offices, and they will be able to provide you with more information about a particular hunt.
