Under the direction of Gov. Brian Kemp, Georgia DNR is working with the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency and other agency partners as Tropical Storm Debby makes it way across Georgia.

DNR teams are ready to respond for search and rescue, to clear roads, conduct water rescues, provide security, and deliver critical supplies. Teams are staged at Jack Hill State Park, Georgia L. Smith State Park and in Albany to respond as needed. DNR State Parks outside the path of the storm are open and available to people and pets, including horses, evacuating from the storm.

Georgians should continue to follow the guidance of GEMA and local emergency management agencies as the storm continues to move across the state.
